Material information

What is silicone?

Silicone is synthetically produced of natural raw materials. Therefore, silicone is classified as a natural product. Usually, silicone is physiologically compatible and non-toxic, and therefore used for skin protection, cosmetic skin care and plastic surgery. The perfect material for love toys!

Please note:

silicon is not compatible with silicone – we therefore recommend not using silicone-based lubricants or lubricant oils.

What is latex?

Natural latex is made of the milky fluids of the tropical rubber tree. But there is also synthetically produced latex. Both have equal positive characteristics. Latex is non-toxic and does not consist of any substances harmful to health. Therefore, latex is used for the production of condoms, disposable gloves and surgical gloves and the like.

Please note:

As a matter of course, persons allergic to latex should not employ love toys made of latex. Aggressive cleaning agents and massage oils might dissolve latex.

What is PVC?

Polyvinyl chloride is produced synthetically. There is hard and soft PVC: The usage of plasticisers provides a great variety of strength and toughness. From bouncy balls to shower curtains, from dildo to love doll – there are versatile applications of PVC.

Please note:

The material’s characteristic smell vanishes after longer airing.

What is ABS?

ABS is produced synthetically. Household appliances and toys cannot be imagined without ABS anymore. ABS can be excellently coated with metals or polymers such as polyurethane.

Please note:

Since batteries positioned loosely inside an ABS vibrator’s housing might cause noises, we recommend positioning batteries fixed when possible.

What is PU or a PU-coating?

Synthetically produced polyurethane can be hard and brittle or soft and elastic. When being foamed, PU is called foam rubber. For instance, PU is used for the production of mattresses, shoe soles, textiles and (latex-free) condoms. When being used as a coating of ABS love toys, PU provides a skin-friendly velvety feeling.

Please note:

Aggressive cleaning agents and massage oils might destroy polyurethane.

What is TPE/TPR?

Thermoplastic rubber/thermoplastic elastomers are new materials with features similar to those of silicone. The main raw material used for the production of elastomers is natural or synthetic rubber in combination with the functionality of a synthetic material. The skin-like TPE/TPR creates a realistic feeling and therefore provides maximum fun.

What is acrylic?

Acrylic is a synthetic glass-like and thermoplastic fabric. Acrylic is non-toxic and does not consist of any substances harmful to health. Therefore, acrylic is an important material for dental prostheses, optical lenses, spectacle glasses, sanitary parts and the like. In short: The perfect material for love toys – with great gliding properties.

Please note:

To avoid a scratching of the surface, acrylic love toys are best cleaned with a soft sponge.
