ABS is synthetically manufactured and is indispensable in household appliances and toys. ABS can be excellently coated with a metallic finish or with polymers, including polyurethane.

Note: Batteries should be placed as firmly as possible in ABS vibrators, because loosely fitted batteries in the casing can otherwise make the vibrator quite loud.

Acrylic is a synthetic, glass-like, thermoplastic plastic. It is harmless to health. Therefore, acrylic is indispensable for dental prostheses, optical lenses, spectacle lenses, sanitary parts and similar items. In short: an ideal lovetoy material with excellent gliding properties.

Note: Acrylic lovetoys are best cleaned by hand or with a soft sponge, otherwise the surface may become scratched.

Natural latex is made from the milky sap of the tropical rubber tree. However, there is also synthetically manufactured latex. Both have the same positive properties.

Note: People with a latex allergy should of course not use latex toys. Harsh cleaning agents and massage oil can dissolve latex. Items manufactured using natural rubber latex can trigger latex allergies.

Synthetically manufactured polyurethanes can be hard and brittle, but also soft and elastic. In foamed form, it is known as foam rubber. Polyurethane is used to make, for example, mattresses, shoe soles, textiles and latex-free condoms. Applied as a coating to ABS lovetoy surfaces, it gives them a skin-friendly, velvety-silky character.

Note: Harsh cleaning agents and massage oil can destroy polyurethane.

Polyvinyl chloride is synthetically manufactured and is therefore available in hard and soft forms. By adding plasticisers, the hardness and toughness of PVC can be varied well. From bouncy balls to shower curtains, from dildos to love dolls, PVC can be used in many different ways.

Note: The distinctive smell of the material disappears after prolonged airing.

Silicone is produced synthetically from natural raw materials and is considered a natural product. Silicone is generally physiologically compatible and non-toxic, which is why it is used, among other things, for skin protection, cosmetic skin care and plastic surgery. The best material for lovetoys!

Note: Silicone is not compatible with silicone, so it is better to avoid silicone-based lubricant/oil.

Thermoplastic rubber or thermoplastic elastomers are a modern material with silicone-like qualities. The main raw material for the production of elastomers is natural or synthetic rubber, which is combined with the functionality of a plastic. This skin-like material creates a lifelike feeling and thus ensures maximum pleasure.
